Baumann & Partners S.A. is a medium-sized, owner-managed company focused on private wealth management and institutional and fund-based portfolio management, located in Luxembourg. Together with our partner company in Munich, we have approximately 50 employees. To support our continued growth in Luxembourg, we are seeking an Employee for Client Services & Operations (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time (80% to 100%).
Your Profile
- Completed banking apprenticeship or a comparable degree
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the banking or securities sector
- In-depth knowledge of the banking and financial services industry
- Understanding of different types of securities and their accounting
- Knowledge in the field of operations and KYC
- Expertise in control functions, such as asset allocation and restrictions monitoring
- Expertise regarding the different legal forms of companies
- Proficient in common MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Independent, proactive, and structured working style and team spirit
- Customer- and solution-oriented; responsible and reliable
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken, is required
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of another language is an advantage
Areas of Responsibility and Tasks
- Reconciliation of client holdings in our portfolio management system and appropriate booking of open transactions
- Performing various controls according to the control plan (AML, MiFID, MiFIR, KYC, etc.)
- Assisting with the handling of compliance inquiries and compliance controls
- Processing client account openings, closures, and changes to master data
- Maintaining and archiving client and intermediary files (both physical and electronic)
- Supporting the team with all arising tasks
